With the police confirming on the spot that Stella was indeed Haynes’ ex-wife, there was no room for doubt.
For someone as wealthy as Haynes, giving his ex-wife a hundred million dollars was hardly a stretch.

Stella kept scrolling through her phone. “I know what you’re all wondering next- why would Haynes give me such a huge sum of money?”
A copy of the contract between Stella and Haynes appeared on the screen.
The terms were straightforward, only a few points in total:
1. Stella would hand over the life-saving medication for Rachel to Haynes.
2. Stella was to provide a letter of forgiveness on behalf of Jasper.
3. Once the mandatory waiting period for divorce was over, the two of them would go to city hall and finalize the divorce.
In exchange, Haynes would pay Stella one hundred million dollars.
Note: Stella must guarantee Rachel’s illness would be fully cured, and if further medication was needed in the future, Stella was required to continue supplying it. Otherwise, the entire sum would have to be returned to Haynes.
