At the end of the twenty-meter-long red carpet stood a huge sign-in board, embellished with eight majestic characters elegantly written with a brush-“A Century of Betrico University, History Will Remember!” The calligraphy was said to have been personally penned by a Clusian leader.
At exactly 4 PM, the red carpet host Mark, wearing a dazzling black suit, took the stage to introduce the distinguished guests attending the centenary anniversary gala of Betrico University.
Mark was a senior law student at Betrico University, the president of the university’s student council, and one of the lead organizers of this red carpet event.

He said, “Distinguished guests, esteemed leaders, ladies and gentlemen, all media friends present, and the entire Betrico community, good afternoon!
“Today celebrates the 100th anniversary of Clusia’s Betrico University, a century of intertwining light and shadows and magnificence.
“Throughout a century, Betrico University has provided Clusia and the world with thousands of exceptional individuals, including top researchers, renowned medical experts, aerospace innovators, and leaders of publicly listed companies,
“For today’s centennial celebration at Betrico University, we have invited prominent individuals from various backgrounds since the university’s founding to celebrate this grand occasion with us.
“Some of our guests are already waiting outside the red carpet, and l’ny sure everyone is eagerly looking forward to it. Let’s invite our first guest onto the red carpet.”
As soon as Mark finished speaking, thunderous applause erupted along with the music.
An elderly figure with a slightly hunched back and thin white hair, yet bright and piercing eyes, stepped onto the red carpet.
As soon as he set foot on the red carpet, the applause in the venge was incessant. This was none other than Trent, the dean of Clusia’s Betrico University.

Cherise, who had just finished getting ready to head to Betrico University, said, “I have some plans today and need to go out Mr. Chivers, is something wrong?” Morris responded, “No worries, just wanted to let you know I’m back in the country. I’ve also got some things to do, so how about we meet later tonight?” Cherise just said “Okay” before ending the call
After hanging up, Leo walked over and said, “Mr. Chivers, it’s time to head to Betrico University.”
Morris nodded. He looked at his phone just after ending the call, smiling softly and muttering, “Just thinking about you, Cherise. I want to see you.
