At Yasvissa International Airport, Morris relaxed in the private VIP lounge, his hair stylishly disheveled, and his black casual suit exuding a natural elegance and refinement. The female staff cast occasional admiring glances his way, tempted to approach, but his commanding presence maintained a respectful boundary.
Truman, in the meantime, was occupied with peeling and enjoying oranges, lounging with his legs casually crossed nearby.
Steven approached Morris and whispered, “Mr. Chivers, there’s been an unexpected change with the pilots for our private jet.”
Morris’s typically stern expression turned menacing.
Sensing the shift, Truman discreetly popped some orange slices into his mouth, bracing for the impending drama.
“Eager to make their play, I see,” Morris commented, his tone an unnerving blend of calm and resolve. “File the paperwork. We’ll take a commercial flight instead, and you handle the rest.” In a different part of the airport, Dennis and Bella were bidding farewell to Cherise.
Bella’s eyes shimmered as she addressed Cherise, “Ms. Leach, please take care. If the Leach family causes you any distress, just reach out, and we’ll be there to bring you back.”
Dennis was equally moved, struggling to express his feelings.
Cherise had left Yasvissa before, but this time was different.
She felt a warmth in her heart as she reassured them, “I’ll take good care of myself. Enjoy your life in Saphira, and I’ll be back to visit soon.”
For Cherise, it was Saphira that truly captured the spirit of home, filled with beloved memories.
As the airport’s PA system announced the commencement of boarding, Cherise offered a final wave to Dennis and Bella before proceeding to the security checkpoint.
Cherise caught the eye of many as she walked through the airport, her simple yet striking look-featuring a white cable-knit sweater, light blue denim shorts, and white high-top sneakers, with her hair flowing freely-radiating a lively and captivating charm. Dennis had managed to get Cherise a spot in business class, and as she got on the plane, she caught the flight attendants’ eyes.
They all thought to themselves that the passengers in business class that day were really impressive. With Morris and Truman already on board, Cherise’s arrival just made the group even more eye-catching.
In the intimate business class cabin, with just four seats, Cherise was escorted to her spot by a steward.
Truman, who was about to save Morris’s dessert since Morris didn’t want it, got so distracted by Cherise that he dropped the dessert. This led to a gooey mess on the floor and a bad stain on Morris’s suit.
Though he was a seasoned veteran in the entertainment world and had met many beautiful women, Cherise had a distinct, alluring charm that was new to him. He had a feeling she could really make it big if he got her on his team.
So entranced was he by her presence that he didn’t realize he’d dropped the dessert, which splattered on the carpet and left a spot on Morris’s outfit.
Morris, frowning deeply, stood up to clean off the mess, his cold demeanor becoming even more pronounced.
He turned to see Truman, lost in thought, staring blankly ahead. Following Truman’s gaze, Morris felt a faint stirring in his chest.
