“I want you to mark me, Adrian“.
He looked at me like I had grown another head and I started thinking it was a bad idea: “Did you just ask me to mark you?” He asked and I shook my head. “Forget I said anything, it was a bad idea. Just forget it“, I rushed out before turning in the direction of the library aisle that I emerged from, my cheeks on fire.
What was I thinking asking him to mark me? I knelt down with my back facing the direction I came from as held my head in my hands. I froze when I heard him behind me.

“You know you can’t stay like this all day, my queen“, he laughed at my sake and I sluggishly got up, hiding my face from him. I went to pick the book where I placed it, I opened it to the page that prompted me and handed it over to him.
His face changed from confused to understanding after he read through the page. “I actually thought it might be true since what happened with Fay happened after we spent the night together“, the memory of what happened during my heat hit me like a truck and my face heated up.
