Boris said it offhandedly, not thinking much of it.
At that moment, he had no idea just how prophetic his words would be.
That afternoon, Caroline arrived at the café thirty minutes ahead of schedule.
A five–star hotel lounge.
At this hour, it was nearly empty. A waiter approached her with a polite nod. “Ms. Brooks? You’re the one meeting Mr. Cameron. Please have a seat–he’ll be with you shortly.”
“Thank you.”
Caroline settled into a window seat, flipping through her notes as she tried to steady her nerves. She had no idea what Cameron was going to ask.
With his wealth, influence, and status, why was he so adamant about

A rhythmic set of footsteps approached, confident yet unhurried.
She glanced up just as a man in a tailored silver–gray suit and polished black leather shoes came into view.

Cameron looked even more distinguished in person than in his photos–polished, well–mannered, the very definition of a refined heir.

“Formulation is the foundation of a skincare brand,” Cameron said. “A truly effective product doesn’t need heavy marketing, fancy packaging, or flashy promotions. If it works, consumers will recognize its value. Their word–of–mouth and recommendations are far more powerful than any advertisement.”
Caroline’s eyes brightened slightly.
It wasn’t often she heard someone of his standing acknowledge that.
