Chapter 303 Caroz’s Celebration Banquet
She had schemed and plotted, yet in the end, she still had to degrade herself by getting involved with Andrew.

“Alright, alright,” Samantha comforted her. “The priority right now is getting pregnant. Andrew will be visiting frequently these days, so your body… better not let us down.”

“He’s busy with his life, and I’m living mine. Isn’t that perfect?”

her purse and smiled. “Enough about that. I have a celebration banquet to attend tonight, so I won’t be home for dinner. Tell the kitchen they don’t need to prepare anything for me.”
She enjoyed her time alone.
If she could spend the rest of her life like this while staying by David’s side, she wouldn’t feel the need to leave.

To celebrate, Boris had arranged this banquet, inviting all employees involved in the Caroz project.

Caroline tapped her forehead lightly, “You and your sweet talk.”
“I’m serious! Everyone was secretly checking you out when you walked in.” Anna linked arms with her. “You usually come to work bare–faced, with your hair in a ponytail, dressing so casually. No one ever gets to see how gorgeous you really are! But now? You’re absolutely breathtaking.”
Caroline was a little embarrassed by the praise. Am I really that pretty?
Ellison Group was full of beautiful women–she had never thought she stood out.
But maybe it was because, for the past month, she had been living free from David’s suffocating presence. She felt lighter, her skin glowing, her spirit refreshed.
