Why Are You Wearing Mr Ellison’s Clothes?

Elizabeth walked out joyfully, “Mr. Ellison has come to see me, right? Just as well, I’ve missed him too!”

For a moment, the Brooks family was bustling about.

David stepped out of the car, dressed simply in a shirt and slacks, yet carrying an air of distinction.

Caroline stood by his side, her head slightly lowered, her hair falling over her face to obscure her expression.

Her skirt swayed, but her upper body was snugly wrapped in David’s suit jacket.

The outfit looked… somewhat odd.

“Mr. Ellison,” Elizabeth approached directly, taking David’s hand, “Why have you come to my home today? Did you miss me and decide to come see me?”

David’s face was expressionless as he glanced at his arm

Elizabeth tightened her grip even more, and with a smirk of triumph, she glanced at Caroline.

That’s when she noticed something off about Caroline’s attire.

“What’s with your style today, Caroline?” Elizabeth sneered. “Where did you pick up that ragged skirt, and why pair it with such an oversized jacket?”

Caroline looked up, “Can’t you tell whose jacket this is?”

Elizabeth paused, examining it more closely, and recognition dawned on her.

Her face contorted with anger.

“It’s Mr. Ellison’s suit!” she exclaimed. “Why… why are you wearing Mr. Ellison’s clothes? Don’t you have your own?”

The more she looked, the more it irked her, and Elizabeth boldly attempted to pull the jacket off Caroline.

Mr. Ellison’s clothes should not be worn by her! What is she showing off for? 

Caroline stepped aside to avoid her, “I’m sorry, it’s not that I wanted to wear it, he put it on me. Besides, it’s only right for me to wear my husband’s clothes, what’s it to you?”

“Mr. Ellison put it on you? I don’t believe it!”

David was well known for his fastidiousness.

His car, his clothes, even the items in his office, no one was allowed to touch them carelessly. He was very particular.

Caroline shrugged, “He’s right here, why don’t you askim? If he didn’t give it to me, could I possibly have taken it?”

A man’s jacket was quite large on a woman.

When Caroline shrugged, the collar moved too, slipping slightly to reveal a part of her shoulder and collarbone.

It made her appear particularly delicate.

Caroline adjusted the collar, wrapping the jacket around herself again.

However, Elizabeth kept staring at her, and she clearly saw the marks on Caroline’s shoulder.

They were bite marks.

And on Caroline’s collarbone, there were distinct marks as well.

Clearly… those were love bites!

It was obvious at a glance!

A surge of jealousy, resentment, and hatred welled up inside Elizabeth, distorting her face.

Just earlier, she had been discussing with Samantha why David wouldn’t touch her, how even her proactive advances did nothing; David simply wasn’t interested.

She had suspected… Caroline had been seducing David behind the scenes.

Now, Elizabeth had seen the evidence with her own eyes! Those kiss marks and bite marks said it all!

No wonder Caroline was wearing David’s jacket, her hair disheveled, looking pitiful yet alluring – she must have just been with David in a passionate encounter!

Elizabeth grew more enraged by the thought, wishing she could slap Caroline right then and call her a “home–wrecker“!
